It's embarrassing how played up the Soul's game's difficulty is. It's appropriately difficulty; it only seems especially hard in comparison to other contemporary AAA games. It's no harder than classic Metroidvania's like SotN or Super Metroid.

Skyrim is the epitome of shallow and bland.
It has no replayability and no RPG development. Literally just dump hours into this game and win. No strategy required. Min max? Fuck that. Just max. It's a game for people who started liking video games because it suddenly became hip to.
Some of the environments are nice though. Especially that one place in the Dawnguard dlc.
