It's a really fun game but you have to limit yourself to make it fun. 99% of the little puzzles in the first few games can be solved with pterodactyl and rope. Some of the games you have to try to see what is the dumbest thing you can do to solve it. Example.

Dad is possessed by a monster that feeds off guilt. Geralt's woman friend hatches plot to steal his baby and do "something" to trick the monster into latching onto Geralt so he can kill it while its vulnerable. She is in another room behind the oven ready to grab it the second Geralt puts it in, without him knowing. Putting it in gives Geralt enough guilt for the monster to appear and you kill it, and everything turns out good.Except for the dude's loyal guards that you brutally murder while they try and rescue the baby

That doesn't make any sense. Trying to create an impression of zooming with a separate camera that is closer to the target doesn't work. It wouldn't look like zooming at all because the perspective would be all wrong. Normal optimized zooming just decreases the field of view and mouse sensitivity, and increases the fustrum culling proportionally so that it can render higher poly LOD models of the target objects within view. There is no technical reason to use an external camera, plus it would look retarded for anyone who has ever looked through a pair of binoculars.
