Ziggurat is a fun game. I wish it had been more successful so it could have had a sequel
I'll agree, Zigguraut was fun but I know why it failed. Being a fantasy version of painkiller isn't enough anymore for a full release, gameplay is great but I guess it just isn't... Unique enough

It would've been more unique if it actually played like the game(s) it pretended to mimic, ie Hexen.
I played it for a couple of hours but got very bored, some of the guns are fun but the gameplay is WAY too repetitive

I love ziggurat but the dungeon should have been longer

They should have made unlocking easier and the dungeon longer

Doom still isn't abandonware, because it's still available for sale.
If you're going to pirate Doom, you might as well pirate Ziggurat too, so you should say they're both free.

You're still right that Doom wads are free and plentiful, once you actually have the base game.
