The ps2 is way more powerful than the gamecube... like the disk sizes.... and.. more shovel ware for Christmas stockings... and don't forget that internet adapter that was used at least 1 or 2 more times than the gamecubes.

Some games ran way better on gamecube than on PS2

Tales of Symphonia and Sonic Heroes are good examples

but really it depended on the game

theyre pretty similair in power really
