>windows 10 is better at gaymen
>people believe this
kek
I bought one.
There's nothing to play anyway.
>>333813969
Windows 10, stopped reading.
Enjoy your spyware.
>>333813969
You must install additional drivers
>>333815354
I bet you use 7 or 8 and think you're safe
>>333815954
I'm >>333814958
No additional/new drivers were used to run this. What one's are you talking about?
>>333816152
>turned off updates over a year ago, well ahead of telemetry bs
i am.
>>333816284
Okay.
>>333815041
>tfw have W10 installed and a 960 is strong enough to do VR
Yes, W10 is definitely the cancer keeping me from doing VR. God damn /v/ and its false anti-W10 propaganda...
>>333816669
Ignore them, we got the best shit around senpai.
>falling for the VR meme
It's the second coming of the waggle. And the games are even worse than the shittiest Wii shovelware.
What you guys want is entering virtual worlds but all you are going to get is shitty tech demos and virtual storefronts that make you feel like you are in an actual McDonalds Cafe.
And why build a good PC for that? It doesn't even look good.

>overclock my GPU real quick
>upgrade from being able to run "low quality" vr to "medium quality" vr
Now I'm wondering if I OC my CPU will that bump me up any further, or is the CPU not bottlenecking it any?
>>333816669
>supporting windows 10
>supporting big brother microsoft watching everything you do and sending info about your searches and files back
You people can't be this retarded, can you?
>>333818130
>hey I've been giving my information away for the past 20 years
>maybe if I don't give my information to M$, who already has my information, then I will somehow be secure
Fuck off. Even grocery stores are collecting your fucking information. I know because I helped them make programs that sorted through your information. Get back to me when you are actually off the grid. Pro tip, you can't because then you wouldn't have internet to get back to me with. You people can't be this retarded, can you?
>2gb for a test
>falling for the VR meme
pls sudoku
Can't you disable all the information sharing BS from W10?
>>333818609
Yeah, it only takes a couple mintues.
BUT CHANGE TRIGGERS MY AUTISM. I ONLY USE WINDOWS 98
>>333816284
>outdated software is safer
lol you know they're constantly releasing security patches in updates right?
>>333818609
No, you can't.
You can follow that bullshit 50 step guide that involes disabling, host blocking and deleting several things but it does not stop it.
Do that entire guide then open Wireshark and attempt to search for a file on your PC.
Instantly opens a connection to Microsoft.

I was told I needed to upgrade my GTX...
Was in the yellow, might re-run it because I feel like thats a load of shit.
Factory clock'd at +10%
There was a Nvidia driver that apparently fucked shit up, has that been fixed or should i stay on an older driver?
>>333818828
What if i do it offline.
>>333818924
If a connection is still being opened for just searching in file explorer even with telemetry blocked on 20 different levels, you're stupid to believe it's not running in other ways.
>>333818754
Bundled with telemetry, adware (for internet explorer, see pic) and gwx.exe.
>>333818979
okay, but what if never connect online anymore?
>>333818717
Hi, Microsoft shill.
Nice b8, you know they can't stop you. Hey but they ran that anti windows 10 program right? They are totally safe now. huehuehue
>>333818919
For the umpteenth fucking time since googling is too hard for you idiots.
You only have a problem if you installed the incorrectly WHQL-certified 364.24, if you didn't isntall that driver you are fine.
If you did install it, you need to use DDU to remove the broken parts that Windows Driver Manager overwrote with the default Windows VGA drivers.
All those people bitching about problems on the newer drivers are idiots who refuse to DDU the broken driver and are being eternally affected by it.
It was installed by windows and as such is running from WinSXS, which can only be deleted by the nvidia install if you're using an admin account (ACCOUNT, not just Admin Permissions. Welcome to post-Windows 7 security)
>>333819062
Yeah, no wifi no ethernet cable.
But why would you do that to yourself when you can have Windows 7?
>>333819057
>MSN
Pretty easy to remove, but still its annoying that this shit is there.
>>333818839
3.5gb
>>333819057
that's your dumbass's fault for using internet explorer, telemetry can be disabled
>>333818839
When I installed my 960, I think I installed the latest driver available on nvidia's website. After the driver installed, a newer driver was available through the application, but my video card actually ran worse, so I rolled back my driver. Maybe your issue is driver related?
>this whole thread
I can't tell between the retards and people pretending
>>333819146
It's on every tab that you open. It is bundled with a security update, which if you install it, the bundled adware install isn't listen in your installed updates. So you can only uninstall the security update part.
>>333819143
because windows 7 will have no support in two years lol
VR is such a huge scam
it just working properly requires a ~$1000 PC then the thing itself costs hundreds on top of that
just to play some motion control tech demo shit
buying into VR now is literally like 10x worse of an idea than buying a Vita or Xbone at midnight on launch day
>not using the 3Dmark benchmark
>>333819264
Im too scared to update, newest drivers still bricking cards. Or rumors, at least. I don't need the update, so Ill wait.
>>333819119
You mean the 364.47 drivers?
>>333816781
>>333819645
Yeah that's the one.
>>333819668
Killed off before even given the chance.
