rescuing gives less in both, but in 1 the rewards you get for rescuing leave you with more adam and other perks than you would have gotten harvesting

in 2 you just get more from harvesting and the tonics and other shit you get just isn't worth it

harvesting was definitely the way to go in 2, and usually video game stuff doesn't really get to me, but man, when the little sisters would recoil in fear and beg you for mercy before you even did anything... I just couldn't fuckin do it man
