is the sequel better?
Yes.
Everyone says it is, but I prefer the first.
2nd seems boring.

They're both pretty the same.
I feel the first has better linear progression, 2 is kinda seperate, and like if u dont take pictures of shit in the last dungeon you can't make half the cool shit with inventing.
2 makes me feel a better game could have been made, but I would still recommend both.
Shit just remmbered 2 has Spheda, (golf) its prob better then

I liked it up until around the Demon Lair. The 100 floor post game was pretty awful, especially with a lack of a defence stat and monsters hitting for over the max hit points of 200 making the rat with a machine gun easily the best character in the game.
