Why do people always get so mad while playing video games?

I play video games to immerse myself in the fantasy that the actions I take are the correct ones, that I am good at something, that my choices that meaning, and that my decisions are the correct ones.
When this doesn't occur it reminds me how shitty life is and I must rage.
Not quite sure myself.
Playing Call of Duty on my PS4 for some casual fun - really funny sometimes too... you can hear people raging in the background though the play-station Bluetooth mic. (the one where you can hear a pin drop in the background and more famously the baby crying.) I rarely encounter people outright raging AT each-other on CoD/consoles, however.
I spend most of my time on my PC, and that is really where the toxic shit happens.
The only thing that gets me angry, is the fact the other people get so upset at the game. Just fucking chill man, jesus.

the problem isnt people who feel emotions, its the people who lose their composure over a single game.

Idk man, in league when I get my ass kicked I just try to say GG, well played in chat and rake in the honorable opponents for a ribbon eventually hopefully. I tend to get mad at the retarded game mechanics more than I do the actual players, in which if they say "its just a game" is kinda BM in my book, depending on how its said. I sometimes say "just chill" and if they get even more pissed off well thats not my problem. Some people just have anger issues.
