Chu Chu rocket.
You have to direct mice to rocket ships with limited arrows, as they are chased by cats.
Puyo pop
Match & drop Puzzle game. There's another version called Puyo Pop Fever. That one spin-off is a challenge on multiplayer.
And finally Racing Gears Advance.
It's a racing game with a top down perspective. I found a listing for used copies on US amazon for 20 dollars.

Scurge: Hive (Horror game. Might be appropriate for teenagers. Or for that kid with the Fedora)
Megaman: Battle Network. (I thought this would be fine until I remembered the bomb card and this megaman having a gun attack)
Demikids (Demon summoning. Also ends on a lead-in to a Japanese only game)
Sonic: Advance. (Sonic is cartoon animal undressed. Your call on this one)
Spider-Man: Mysterio's Menace. (Your call on this one. It's a platformer tie-in game with Spiderman)
Super Monkey Ball Jr. (Cartoon animal naked. Other than that, it looks like a fun port of a puzzle game)
