Let's see what are /v/ tastes in Dragon Ball vidya.
I excluded a bunch of Dragon Ball vidya because there are quite a lot of DB/DBZ games so instead I tried to group some of them into "series".

Tenkaichi 3 was incredibly polished, somehow balanced, had an immense dbz feel in fights and GREAT mechanics(blue bar=best mechanic ever).
Somehow when they transitioned to next gen they dun goofed and removed the blue bar and the point value on characters, thus rendering the game an immense broken pile of shit.

Pic related is grossly underrated. The story mode and what-if scenarios are amazing. The first one on GBA is every bit as good.
Also the SNES Butoden games were clunky, primitive pieces of shit during the time when Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter had set the standard for console fighters. But I still love those games based on pure nostalgia from emulating them when I first discovered Snes9x.
Also there's some adventure game based on Dragon Ball that had a really shitty fan translation that was a wonderful game for SNES. It followed the whole story of Dragon Ball VN style with a turn based fighting mechanic. Forget the name.

raging blast is awful.
they removed the blue bar(and the ki literally charges in one second)so now youll never use base characters because youll transform as soon the game begins.
combat got worse, now there's only power creep because characters have no squad value and some skills are just abusable(Vegeth lol).
its pure shit and i have no idea how they dun goofed so hard after the greatness of tenkaichi 3.

my first game was Budokai 1 in 2003 when I was 12, I got Budokai 2 in 2004, I got Tenkaichi 3 in 2007.
I bought RB1 in 2012 a couple of months after I got my PS3, then I bought in 2013, RB2, but I was really disappointed with both of those games. Bought Burst Limit a few weeks before Xenoverse came out last year, I was disappointed with the content.
