Dang, I knew Stardew Valley did well but I didn't think it did THAT well.

Sounds about right.
>Stardew Valley & XCOM 2 in #1 and #2
Didn't expect for either of those to be that high
its almost like gaming PCs arent the only PCs
its almost like everyone and their grandma uses steam

Stardew Valley fills a very popular niche that's strangely unutilized on pc. Makes sense.
XCOM is XCOM. Quite popular.
The Division: A lot of people expecting something cool just to be disappointed a bit later.
Tomb Raider: A sequel to the very popular reboot.
The Culling...I don't get why it's popular. Then again, I don't see why Rust is either
Truck Simulator: Take a (strangely) popular game and give it new maps and trucks. The people who like it will definitely buy it.
Dragon's Dogma: A wonderful port. Very glad to see it did well.
Factorio: Very surprising to see it be so popular. People enjoy tycoon type games though so it makes sense.
Firewatch: A waste of space
Scrap Mechanic: Not a clue
Slime Rancer: A very cutesy and relatively casual game. Makes sense.
Punch Club: People buying it expecting one experience and instead getting a different, highly disappointing one. I think with refunds this number is actually fairly lower.
SUPERHOT: As much as this has been streamed/talked about I'm surprised it's not higher on the list.
Far Cry Primal: For people that simply want more far cry no matter the quality
Street fighter 5: I don't understand the controversy that surrounds this.
HITMAN: Being episodic and hilariously broken at times, it makes sense to have such a relatively low number.
The rest I don't know so no opinion.

>steam is the entire pc platform
also, people arent just limited to playing the 3-4 AAA games available per console so you end up with more people playing more games than just all your customers playing the same shit every year
