Maiden Astraea is in my top 5 of Soulsborne tracks, along with Gwin's theme, but I think Ludwig's is my favorite now. It makes the fight hype as fuck when he pulls out the Moonlight blade.

As much as I fucking HATE Maria and Kos, I have to respect them because they're fair. Every attack can be dodged, you just have to be on fucking point, especially with Kos.
Took me around 5 hours to finally beat him. Probably would have been easier if I didn't have to learn what parrying was while fighting Maria. I had never used it before that, so learning how to do that right took a minute.

Eh, I feel kinda bad for Armored Core fans, because that's unlikely to happen. At least not by their top teams. Their top teams will be making Souls games for a while I think.
Personally I'd like the see a space fantasy take on it. Something that's futuristic, but still has magic and shit like that (FTL travel is easiest to explain with magic anyway)
Maybe something where you play as a magically powered android (basically a golem, but you know, mechanical) on a spaceship where all the humans are losing their minds. Rather than take their souls or their blood when you kill them, you take a part of their mind somehow; their intelligence (memories or thoughts or something like that), which helps your artificial intelligence become stronger.
