I'm in love with it, OP. It's the most fun I've had with a fighting game ever I think.
It's good, but I'm only checking it out because SFV has problems on my machine. I like it, but I don't want to seriously get into another fighting game franchise. They deserve props for making a good port and communicating well, something Capcom could learn from.
Also I can't believe that xbox gold free trial rtick a few months ago actually worked. Got a full season of free characters.
It's the best fighting game i've played since CvS2. Bummer about Windows 10 though.

Love it since I bought the Xbone for it (bought it when season 2 was on, decembre 2014, I'm dumb but not enough to take that shitty console day one)
Season 3 is great though. I like the pace of the matches, the character design (I love the arbirter when I doesn't like Halo), the new UI, the new lighting (even though I would rather have 5 stages) and the music.

Game is really good, sucks that microsoft is strangling its pc release with windows store bullshit. Just waiting for a sale so I can get the Supreme edition with all the characters and classic skins. $50 for a 2yr old game is kinda jewish.

Yeah, but I could just pay $10 more and get Dark Souls 3 which is both new, long lasting and also has online multiplayer. I want to buy Killer Instinct but anything other than $50 gets you pieces of the game and it is a 2yr old game. $50 for a 2yr old game!
At this point, a full purchase price is more for the sake of the novelty than any die hard interest. Fans of certain games get them on release, when they're hot. Not 2yrs later when everyone knows everything and interest has waned. I'm not rich enough to casually throw $50 at a game.

2 years ago you could buy the game for $50 and get 8 characters. Now you can buy the game for $50 and get 22. The people getting really jewed here are the early adopters who had to pay for each new season. They've paid like $120 for all the content as it was coming out.

It's a fighting game, you can't master anything cause there is always a person better than you. It's a redundant statement. I can beat story mode with Jago on very hard, does that count? I can Ultra every opponent in story mode on very hard, does that make me good?
You ambiguous statement has no set limit, it's akin to being the best at an mmo or moba. It isn't possible since they have no end.

It's not the same. Fighting against a cpu on medium isn't even the same as fighting a cpu on ultimate. You have to land combo breakers every time, at the right time or the cpu will get you for 50% health combos every time.

Convenience sure, but I feel my argument is helped by each character being unique and interesting enough to warrant purchase. Learning their systems, and how to overcome said systems, is its own entertainment and feels very rewarding in practice. I dunno, I feel I get my money's worth taking Hisako, Cinder, Omen, etc into the lab for messing around with.

The port is pretty terrible, doesn't have directinput and then on top of that the retards didn't actually bind menu functions to buttons but have them separate and not rebindable from the actual buttons.
They can go fuck themselves, which is a shame since I was really looking forward to buying and playing this game.
