>Post tfw VR is killed by hardware wars
VR is actually being killed by very VERY mediocre software.

this and only this.
its like the wrong people are in charge of creating VR video games.

>new tech
>nobody knows how to make games for it yet
Wow, what a shock.
In other news, water is still wet.

its like VR isn't new, and is flopping just like the Virtual Boy did
VR IS ALREADY DEAD
New units sent out every day
All slopes trending downward instead of growing
Never more then 2 people playing most vr games
Valves free "Revolutionary Game" peaked at 100 users
People are literally trying games then closing them and never touching them again
This is the future we chose

Remember how popular WII was for its motion technology? Yea. That's what's gonna happen to VR.
I truly can't get my head wrapped around how stupid it is to buy new technology this early. Jesus, just wait a month or two to hear critic's reviews of it.
Why are poorfags so obsessed with doomsaying VR?
Are you really that mad that normies with a job will have virtual waifus but you never will?
VR is actually doa because of shit games and wii-tier waggle

This

>That's what's gonna happen to VR.
It will top the hardware sales charts? Oh no, the horror.
>>333716230
VR is already being killed by being a shitty overpriced gimmick.
>>333718907
Yes, and it will die out in a year or two.
>>333718953
Unlikely. This is first gen tech we're seeing, it will only get better.
>>333718483
>new tech
>nobody knows how to make games for it yet
>while some of the biggest studios work on it
k
>tfw you were hyped for vr
>just got diagnosed with photosensitive epilepsy
Guess I'm sticking to lcd monitors from 40 feet away.

Is there supposed to be an implication in there?
All of those statements are correct.

>VR IS SELLING OUT
>Launch comes
>1 person playing vr golf
>3 people playing job simulator
>5 people playing the first game valve has made in 10 years
>VR IS SO POPULAR THEY CANT MAKE HEADSETS FAST ENOUGH
>>333721490
>6 months in future
>0 people playing any vr games
>GUYS PEOPLE ARE STILL JUST WAITING FOR DELIVERIES
>seated VR is a gimmick
>standing VR requires huge caps on level space, and you have to teleport to move around
I really love seeing shills say teleporting is a solution to the motion sickness problem, as if that will not seal VR's fate as a gimmick.
People want to play Skyrim, Minecraft, Arma, Half Life, or Battlefield with this kind of tech. They want to run around vast open areas like they're actually there. No one gives a fuck about Job Simulator or shooters that are on rails.
