I used the expansion pack, which comes with a lot of NFS2 and 3 track conversions, as well as cars.
Also comes with a program to pick what cars and tracks you want in the game on any particular launch, because there are only a limited number of slots.

Major issue is the front bump stops are really tall and it bottoms out easily at low spring rates.

AC is doing okay with dirt tracks right now. With the upcoming wrc Fiesta that is setup specifically for dirt tracks things should change. Depending on the mod track Rallylegends cars' tires behave well enough for a good experience. The porsche in the webm uses ds3 tarmac warm tires which work just fine

For example in AC why prioritize brake fade when the game has a good number of street cars whose brakes would turn to shit after a few laps, long before the tires go.

Long story short: Volvo wanted to enter their then-new 850 into the BTCC. When the 850 team showed up to Volvo HQ for the cars, there were no sedans left so Volvo gave them two wagons instead.
The team said fuck it and entered them anyway, and despite not coming in first outright, they weren't bad cars at all- almost no weight difference compared to the sedan and actually more aerodynamic due to the long, flat roof. More importantly, it was great publicity- the drivers were good, the fans loved it, and the other drivers on the track fucking hated it because when you were behind it you couldn't see ANYTHING and spent most of their time intentionally smacking into it. The 850 wagons spent more time with the rear bumpers gone than actually complete.

Midtown Madness mods were really awful about that. it didn't help that even converted NFS cars looked better than MM2's stock content.
