@333606565
Your retarted
I don't care for this franchise.
>>333606638
It had 1 good game, 2 if you count the remake of the good game.
>>333606624
Uhh, that's not how you tag people mate.
Are you sure you're not on his level?
>>333606565
Do you think Nintendo games take place in the same universe?
I know StarFox and Mario could fit together, bt what about the other games

who is actually going to buy this
>>333609258
I am.
Looking forward to it, it looks like everything Star Fox fans have been hoping for.
So SNES star fox will never be on virtual console right?
>>333609258
with tons of replay value, similar to W101. I have more than 250 hours of gameplay in W101
your opinion is pure shit

Why would you want that? It aged terribly.

so I can play and own each game
>>333610439
If you played 64, you basically played the SNES version, just 30 times better.
Thought I do miss the old mumbles the characters do.
>>333610287
I've been playing it and SF64 in anticipation for Zero. It aged FAR better than the vast majority of games with that level of 3D graphics, and is significantly more challenging than SF64. It also has the best soundtrack of any SF game.
>>333610680
If I can enjoy the earlier Rune Factory games after starting on 4 I'm sure I could find the SNES game fun
>>333610680
SNES version had the superior soundtrack by a mile.

>>333610680
Starfox 2 was pretty good desu senpai
>>333610689
Oh for sure, but it still doesn't hold up well at all. That's the problem with early 3D games, they were amazing for the time but aren't future-proof. So much of the PS1 library has rusted because of that.
>It also has the best soundtrack of any SF game
I can't argue that.
>>333611339
I'm with you in general, but I still think Star Fox has held up better than you're giving it credit for. It does suffer a bit of extra difficulty due to the framerate, relative lack of responsiveness, lack of aiming reticle, and wonky hitboxes on a couple bosses, but if you git gud none of it is anywhere near a dealbreaker, IMO.
The first edition pre-order already sold out in my area, I don't care much about the game but I wanted to have the first edition. I wanted to have it as ''collector'' so I'm not going to open the package. I will buy an used copy later just to play it.
What do you guys actually think about me keeping the first edition sealed? Will it be worth it or should just open and play it?
>>333613081
I don't envision this game being a rare collectible, it's one of the last hurrahs for the Wii U, which has an outstanding attach rate.

> 100% in 12 hours
Got a source other than your ass?
>>333611962
I'm just comparing it to 64, since gameplay-wise the only thing it has over 64 is difficulty (some of which is due to the flaws).
>>333611201
this
>>333613467
Gotcha. My view is: why not play both?
>>333613296
As if "100% completion" counts beating your high scores and continuing to enjoy varied repeat playthroughs. It's not $60, either, if you don't want SF Guard.
>>333613229
What about the other upcoming Wii U games, is there a game that will be worth something?
>>333613296
All Starfox games are short as fuck.
You could literally beat Starfox 64 in a hour of casual play.
>>333614110
Nintendo is too coy with their future releases to have an answer to that. I don't think Zelda U will be all we get later this year, but there's nothing else on the radar.
Maybe Lost Reavers if there's a physical version?
>>333614504
According to Wikipedia Lost Reavers will be exclusively distributed via Nintendo eShop.
>>333614504
You do realize that Nintendo focused on upcoming released last E3, right?
They're going to do the same thing this year... only this time, we don't actually know what's coming up.
>>333613887
>>333614237
That doesn't count as 100%.
100% likely means getting every medal on every stage.
>>333615631
Yeah, I'm aware. No point in fretting about what the Wii U will get until then.
And I'm still not buying an NX right away unless there's a (good) Metroid launch title or something.
>>333616056
That was my assumption too, which is why it's an irrelevant complaint when Star Fox games are made to be replayable arcade-style.
Shitposters strawmanning as if this and The Order 1886 are the same deal.
