I see plenty of people who moan about how it's inferior to the original, Final Fantasy Adventure.
Adventure on Gameboy is a better game. Sword actively ruins everything good about its simple narrative.
The mobile version is also better than Sword if you're a shitter who needs grafix.

SD1 remake uses Rise of Mana's engine, so it's chibi 3D. But at least the designs are more faithful to the original SD1 (unlike Sword of Mana, which used completely different designs for its characters).
