In all ways. Ambrosia exists under a different name, government agencies really are spying on us and nanotech is being actively worked on.

The schism of power between governmental and private entities closing, though that's pretty obvious.
>>
>>333598520
Don't care if you didn't post it, there are better things to do in a Deus Ex thread than meme about porn. That being said, thanks for your contribution

It was a chart. I don't remember what the context of the post was, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't "memeing".

The US stops valuing freedom and starts shitting all over its citizens.
Will happen if Hillary wins. She's already confirmed for wanting to take two constitutional rights.

It was a chart about porn. Cue epic reaction images.

First you can't call people nigger.
Then you can't blaspheme.
Then you can't criticise immigration policies like in Sweden.
Then you can't criticise the government at all like Singapore and China.

You're giving her and her party way too much credit, m8. Whichever candidate wins, whichever party wins, little to nothing will get done. Our congress will make sure of it.

Prejudice against people with electronic augmentations. There's a brief mention of augs VS non augs riots in the first deus ex, and further expanded upon in human revolution.

When google glass was made available for early testers, one man was assaulted in a fast food join because people didn't know if he was recording them or not.

>There's a brief mention of augs VS non augs riots
Where? The impression I got was that augs were supposed to be for military purposes only with very few being out there in the criminal underground. No mention of purity focused people against cyborgs, only rioting was about Ambrosia.

Surely you're at least familiar with the term "newspeak"?

Where did this "Deus Ex predicted the future" shit even come from? The only thing Deus Ex predicted about the future is "All that crap that's been going on for centuries will continue to go on in the future, just with different technology."

It's funny when you know that it's fucking Anna, she'd love nothing more than to be ripping spines out of people and touching herself with her throwing daggers.
>>
>>333600926
It came from the twin towers being absent in the Liberty Island skybox. And whilst it was due to memory limitations or some such, I believe they justified it as a terrorist attack in the game's canon.

>And whilst it was due to memory limitations or some such, I believe they justified it as a terrorist attack in the game's canon.

It was a mistake, the artist just neglected to do them.

Saying they were blown up in a terrorist attack becomes less a prediction of the future and more a reference to the past when you consider there was an attempt by terrorists to blow up the WTC in the mid 90s.

No? Maybe I'm the only one that loves having a last conversation with a boss enemy.
>>333601724
Only thing I find strange is how the fuck did NSF manage to not only blow up the statue, but also steal the entire Ambrosia shipment, send UNATCO boys back to the base and capture Gunther. They would need much more manpower and equipment to pull that off, and I don't see that many bodies lying around.
>>
>>333602040
Gunther's just a retard, Manderly ordered the troops to pull back but Gunther refused and went all alone.
>>
>>333602040
Presumably most of them got away, and they left behind those required to hold down the fort.
>>
>>333601262
Doesn't make a difference. Loading times are long and incredibly frequent.
>>
>>333602040
The NSF didn't blow up the statue. The entire reason UNATCO is on Liberty Island is because MJ12 bombed the statue and blamed Silhouette.

Political systems that aren't center seeking ideologically are systems that are unstable.
In every stable political system, people revolve around one central ideology with little deviation.

It means you've found a system that works and political change needs to be deliberate and slow.
