Unless it's handled better than the SMT/Persona series has done it before, I don't think talking to demons needs to be back in.
Keep the shadow self and collective unconscious main themes of P1, 2 and 4. Bring back a few of the attacks that were taken out between EP and P3, and bring back the weapon fusion from P3. As long as the stuff like skill cards, choosing skills etc from Golden come back, along with what I've said previously, it should be decent.
