It's fun when you can actually get into a game but the load times are completely absurd.

Red Dead is the only open world online game I play. It sucks that Rockstar is so incompetent and that their multiplayer department is run by monkeys that you can literally crash all the servers for weeks on end by simply throwing molotovs at a certain glitched area online or something.
It's the most fun online game I've ever played. I don't know how it can be so incredibly satisfying to lock on and then flick the headshot. Even CSGO headshots aren't as satisfying.

I don't know the specifics, but I had hundreds of hours on online on the 360 and it still has quite a dedicated community, it's weird, like free roam is full of randoms but join deathmatches and you'll see the same dozen/hundreds of gamertags every time, with everyone 360 crouching/insta-headshotting or whatever.
yeah, I just heard that one of the more autistic players found it on accident. It's just bullshit drama, the rockstar forum had it plastered all over accusing some guy alone of finding it and spreading it, I dunno. When the glitch happens servers become unplayable because players become invisible and everyone gains infinite health

IV was hardly a serious multiplayer mode, it was just to fuck around with friends. There was no money, no points, no missions, no cars, no permanent character, nothing for autists to pay real money to acquire quicker. It was great because it literally gave you a sandbox. and 15 other people to mess around with. GTA V's multiplayer is like a shitty MMO. IV was what a GTA multiplayer mode should be, V is an example of how badly you can fuck up when you focus more on selling e-currency than making a fun game mode.
