regardless of the game's quality it will be buggy as fuck on launch and for quite a bit afterwards, many total war games STILL have bugs that never got patched
wait for the launch to get patched, waves of DLC to go on sale, and people to stop being sour over the launch state and take it all and weight it
the same goes for any TW game, buying it on launch just gets you burned

They also changed how regional occupational works, and cross-racial alliances aren't meant to be forever lasting pacts. I'd imagine a co-op campaign must be played with 2 factions under the same race.
