The one I went to for a birthday party had a 4-person Turtles in Time arcade machine and it was an absolute blast playing with 3 other friends.

The worst, and best time I ever had at a chuck was at a party for a kid that my brother knew.
Me and four 3 other kids I didn't know blasted through the Simpsons arcade game on about 3 dollars, and then some kid shit on the slide.

I won a PSVita playing one of these at Great Wolf Lodge a few years back.

I was able to kind of maximize my score, though. Like in that game where you have to stop the lights at the highest number... if you hit the button at the highest number, it will always miss and stop at another number. But if you stopped it at the second highest number, you'd almost always hit it. So I just kept winning the second-highest number of tickets from that game.
That game where you use your finger to complete the maze under a time limit is absolute utter bullshit-tier and the timer instantly drops to zero before you can complete it.

A realllly long time ago, like 10+ years, my brother used to work at Chuck E Cheese. He told me a horror story of a time where a kid had diarrhea and got it all over the ball pit. I wouldn't trust those ball pits anymore, it's probably a nest for all kinds of germs.

The one closest to me is alright. Has a pretty decent selection, and has some older shit as well (stuff like Mario Kart Arcade and a few obscure arcade games from the late 90s), and has a bowling ally/restaurant. Restaurant sucks ass and is overpriced, but the rest is alright.
Played this every time I went, it was so fun. One thing I remember is the trigger was sort of messed up in the game near me, if you held down the trigger it wouldn't fire in full auto, it would shoot a burst of 3, then a quick pause, then 1 more, then repeat. The sound of the blaster in the Hoth level is embedded in my mind because of this.

As a teen my sister even worked there so we'd get discounts and shit. We had an independant arcade/pizza/ticket place growing up rather than a Chuck E Cheese. So many great games in there.
I beat every single house of the dead game there with my dad as the second player.
The best game was called "Mazan Flash of the Blade" which was like house of the dead with swords and you got to swing a real sword around. I'd kill to have one.
