Yes. Pre-SCIV it was a respected fighting game series and arguably as good (If not better) than Tekken.
SCIV turned the game into a casual-friendly, create-a-waifu dress-up simulator with a broken mess of a fighting game attached and SCV tried to be the Tekken 3 of the series, but failed miserably.
