I just managed to finish Sebenco climb on Phantom speed and novice difficulty in first place and I feel glorious. But still I know I'll rip my hair out with the Phantom tournament in the final grid. How do I git gud, /v/?Also how the fuck am I supposed to beat Zico?
bump for interest
got this game for free years ago in the apology bundle but never got around to playing it

It's pretty good.
Too bad I'm so shit at it

Sebenco Climb is the most fun track in HD, full of bumps to fly over and roll for those sweet boosts.
On a different note, how the fuck do I git gud at Wipeout 3?

>Sebenco climb
>fun
>master offline play and learn tracks by playing Phantom Elite
>go online
>end up beating loads of people
>receive butthurt messages about being a hacker
Best advice I can give, OP, is to just keep playing offline and tournaments, moving up difficulties when you're able to win consistently. Also try Zone mode and find a ship that you feel most comfortable handling.

It is. I was so disappointed when I first played Sol 2 because I thought it was gonna be even crazier than Sebenco Climb with loads of turns, jumps and bumps, turned out it was easier than fucking Metropia.
A map where I can't perform boost rolls in mid-air is an easy, boring map.
I played Icaras on Elite difficulty a while ago and it was fucking insane. Took me a lot of tries to get first place, but it was fun as fuck. Rolled at least 5 times every lap.
Been a while since I've played, but Zico isn't too bad. A lap is what? 30 seconds? There isn't much you need to remember. Look up any youtube vid and follow their line. There are only 2 or 3 turns that you actually need to practice.
PS4 PORT WHEN
FUCK
> gave away my PS3 last year
> miss Wipeout and Lumines
Although, Sony said few months ago that we will likely get a new Wipeout for PS4, even tho the original studio was closed.

>Psygnosis was working on a PS4 Wipeout before Sony shut them down

If you do the reverse track of sebenco climb its actually really fun. Its just a massive downhill after the initial climb. Its my favorite track in reverse. Try it out a few times, you will probably like it once you get your line figured out.
Who /future proof/ here?
Anybody else hyped for Formula Fusion?

Quite.
They are slow on updates though.
Haven't bought the steam version yet..

I just hope it doesn't suffer the usual early access fate, it's looking pretty promising.
