no, dark souls is a very flawed masterpiece. a good part of the game is very mediocre to poor.
bloodbornes level of consistency in quality far surpasses the previous souls games, faltering in design only once or twice. (wet nurse comes to mind as mediocre imo)

I'm not entirely sure but for the parts where they aim you from unreachable place you have to hide yourself or hug those skelly-stone status. Frenzy does 75% of your hp in all case (except the self infected one from the rosarius weapon, thats 50%) Anyway, just run and hide/hug. I know you'll meet one down a edge which can easily frenzy you before you reach him, that's the one I taught you meant initially
