I'm one of the few people I know who is interested in Uppers. It's a very stylish, over the top, testosterone laden 3D brawler. It sounds awesome!

I love that the premise for Uppers is 'beat other dudes up to get girls wet'. Great character design too. It's a shame Japan's not too receptive of it. Have you seen the campaign they're doing? If you play the demo, you get a discount on the digital game. It's dire.

The 2006 anime was the first route which was mostly an introduction. The most recent adaption Unlimited Blade Works is the 2nd route adaption and the third route is getting a movie I think.
