If nothing else, the music.

Homestuck made a nice reference to this today. I hear that the composers are the same? Might have to give this game a play.

Well everything. It's an incredibly successful game that managed to dethrone the likes of OOT and SML.

Everything but the overworld art.

I still think the music is really good.
The combat is too easy and there's too much dialogue, but all the tunes are pretty great. Sometimes my youtube autoplaylist gets stuck on one of those 10 hour recordings and I don't even notice.

gameplay's varied and does enough clever things to not get boring.
