I'm somewhat jaded about these games now, they just seem like various iterations of 'GAME: The Hunt For More Stuff' in different settings.
I wish they hadn't done things like put bullshit elements into the game, because then at least it could have been vaguely informative rather than a complete waste of time. My guess is my enjoyment of the game will last several hours or whenever I finish upgrading the ship, whichever comes first.

Cool little game with some nice ideas, but lacks in execution, if you enjoy exploration, then go for it, there is a gog version.
6.5/10 SCREENSHOT THIS
As long as No Man's Sky can function as a relaxing exploration simulator similar to modded skyrim then it has fulfilled all I expected of it. I doubt collecting resources and running into a player once every 12 hours will be exciting but if there is something cool at the center of the galaxy then even better.

Genuinely hyped for a 10/10 game, the only thing I'm looking forward to this year (besides overwatch)
Spacecraft travel that's open and seamless between worlds, free roam terrestrial exploration in 3D that's not pixelated, and multiple progression paths.
It's the only interesting game coming out on consoles in the foreseeable future. Yes I am very fucking hyped for this one.
