Nuclear throne is more of an arcade game than a dungeon crawler. Each "floor" is just a little arena you fight on without much to find other than a weapon chest, and you go to the next one once you've killed all the enemies. The bosses are preset and exist on specific floors.

I guess, I just looped around the room and fired at him with Charge Shot. I used the frightsaber for a bit as well, that's really useful to get out of the projectile spam.
Does anyone have any general tips for getting good? On my third run I flawlessed the first and second boss and now for the past three hours I struggle on the first boss and the second chamber.
