With remoteplay, your PC is streaming content from a device over your own WiFi network. It's a much shorter distance to travel, meaning lower latency. When you play on PS Now, you're adding extra distance into the equation. It's not just your local network but your local network in combination with your ISP and whatever geographic distance exists between you and Sony's server. Light can only travel so fast.

Works pretty good on the vita, though sometimes text is very small for the vita.
Some anons, dont know you can change the framerate to increase it on the vita, I think it works pretty good, but the missing R2,L2, R3,L3 buttons which are map to the touchscreen make it tough to play some games.

Also automatic firmware updates and game updates while it's in rest mode.
Also going from rest to on is much much faster than going from off to on.

Remote Play on PC is the same as Remote Play on the Vita. You literally just have a remote connection to the console and the console registers it as you using it regularly. You don't download games or share anything differently, the PS4 is working 100% the way it always does and if you want to play a game you still have to change the disc in the PS4 or go download it on the PSN store on the PS4. All this is is like if you let someone remote desktop your PC. The only thing that's happening is you can see what your PS4 is outputting while being away from it, you're still using the PS4.
There's no codes, there's no "i'll use this while someone else does too", there's nothing like that.
