They do seem nice. However their constant "darling" and other pet-names for one another are obnoxious and at times forced sounding. I honestly watched their videos for the first time a couple months ago and thought the whole thing was a goof. Didn't realize they are actually TG and actually together. I thought it was just two dudes fucking around. Primarily because of those kinds of interactions.

It doesn't function nearly as well as original hardware because it's an emulator, except you need the original cartridges to play them. Either suck it up and buy the original hardware or emulate. Don't half-ass it with this garbage.

You know where you should ask? Ask /vr. They love the retron, and they can tell you which models work best with which games. They are pretty helpful, but if you say you have a wife interested in the Retron, they'll be even more helpful.
