Except Senran disrupts the game play with shitty cutscenes and they've focused on making a bunch of waifus over making at least one of them have an interesting and unique moveset that's fleshed out and has some depth to it. The level design is also lacking so they just made certain areas trigger cutscenes.
It's definitely a worse Musuo, but Musuo is already a shit franchise.

How wrong can one person be. As long as it doesn't negatively affect gameplay in any way, or ruins the video game experience because it's inappropriate for the game's setting/premise or something, why not? It makes my dick hard and makes me want to fap, that's always a plus.
In fact, sexiness could improve a video game substantially at the right amount. You just need a right balance of sexiness. Sexiness can build character, and infuse personality to a female character. She shouldn't be a slut, but cute/sexy enough to leave you wanting more. To find the right balance of sexiness you need to weigh numerous options. As I've mentioned, the setting and premise of the series are very important. So is the tone of the plot itself.
Sexiness in video games is actually a conundrum for developers and writers alike, since your design has to be sexy, yet at least a bit realistic so that people could at least, say "relate", to the female character in question.
So the idea that sexiness is a "cheap" way to attract people is simply not true, because of the effort required to make them alluring to the player. You don't know how hard it is to make a sexually appealing character that's designed well. This dumb, unwishful thinking has to end.

If women in video games are reduced to nothing but eye candy with beautiful faces, thin fit bodies and big breasts that you occasionally get to romance and have sex with, you automatically measure real women against that unrealistic beauty and behavior standard. Real life women suffer from these unrealistic standards. They can never achieve such perfect figures and they shouldn't have to. A lot of women have genetic conditions that make it impossible for them to lose weight and get fit. Yet gamers look down on and mock them for because they fall outside of the unrealistic beauty standards established by videogames, even though it's not their fault.
Sometimes you'll see a woman you find attractive on the street and you think you'd like to have sex with her. This is a direct result of modern video games where you can have sex with every female. What you don't know is that thinking such thoughts is extremely sexist and is, actually, rape. If the woman knew what you thought of her she'd be disgusted and feel very uncomfortable. She'd experience an acute loss of agency.
We need less sexist portrayals of women in video games to change the way men think and to reduce their natural rape impulses.

An example would be dante in SMT nocturne, or how you can recruit squad mates from Valkyria Chronicles 1 and 2 in 3 through dlc and side quests.
