Upgrading their existing MediaDisc format, or using MiniDVDs, both in wider usage at the time, could have spurred non-gamers buy the titles, keeping the format alive longer.

I'm glad the flying turned into Pilotwings Resort, because that was exactly the game I was thinking about when I got to try it.
Though admittedly I'd rather have another game like Pilotwings 64.
It's not as big of a Layton ripoff as I thought it would be (at least gameplay-wise), but it decided to just cram a whole mess of different genres, all shitty.
