I liked playing as Piers.

Piers was the most boring character in all of 6; maybe in the entire series. At least Jake was a cocky bastard. All Piers had going for him was "CMON CHRIS WE GOTTA GET REVENGE!"
His retro costume however is hilarious.

What are you talking about? Piers was the one trying to bring Chris, consumed by his lust for revenge, back from his senses. He loyally followed Chris to the end, but he was unhappy with what Chris had allowed himself to become.

Admittedly it's been a while since I played 6 but Piers was still one of the weakest characters introduced I feel. Him an chris don't really play off each other as much as they do in the intro (when they meet at the bar in whereverthefuck).
I mean I'm probably wrong but I recall most of their interactions being "Cmon Chris don't forget about the mission" or something to that effect. Next time I go back to 6 I'll play as Piers and probably find I'm full of shit.

Consider yourself lucky, the one off characters don't get ruined from game to game due to bad writing (Jill/Claire). Plus people don't argue about which incarnation is the best (Leon/Chris).
This is why HUNK is the best RE character, because he has no character to ruin.
