this shit released today and I didn't find a thread in the catalog
why is it so good brehs
>>
also, how do I unlock the shortcut to the Second floor?
I've met the short elevator guy, talked to him in the Hub and he said to go to the second level's elevator shaft or something, but I can't find him there anywhere
>>
>>333314417
It's a good game. People will call you a shill for wanting to discuss it though.
>>
What does beast mode do?
>>
I have only 7 hours in nuclear throne and never made it to the throne so far because too hard

is this game better?
>>
>>333314417

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYpSoiNdrZw

Pretty fun so far even if I am shit at it. Best part is I didn't even have to pay for it since the devs have been giving away a shit ton of keys.
>>
Favourite starting character? Convict here, revolver is God tier and molotov is pretty decent too
>>
>>333315287
It's harder than NT because of the bullet hell parts
>>333315465
the Marine, his starting weapon is too stronk to choose anyone else over him + don't need to worry about ammo
>>
>>333314719
>shills will call you a shill for wanting to discuss it though
Fixed that for you.

>>333315465
Pilot because greed.
>>
>>333315287
Much easier, health is less common, you can't get 100-0 quickly like you can in Throne, there's constant progression so you can feel like you did something even if you died early, and there's this item that essentially nukes everything on screen.

Also the dodgeroll in this game isn't complete garbage. You have true invincible frames. I found NT too frustrating as well but I'm having a great time with this.
>>
>>333315293
>giving away a shit ton of keys
Shit really? Where at? I dont wanna pirate since my ISP gets butthurt about torrenting but free is better than not free.
>>
looks fun, too expensive for what is probably some incredibly short """"""""""roguelike"""""""""" that keeps shit through deaths and gives you upgrades as you continue to play, AKA the worst way to stretch out a game's length. i might get it when it's $2 in a steam sale later this year. or when it's on PS+.
>>
it desperately needs online co-op. And they need to be more direct on what the fuck the people you free do.

And at some point i was able to steal from the shopkeep, i've never been able to do it again though.
>>
>>333315465
Honestly, I like everyone except the Pilot, because the Pilot's starting gun fucking sucks and makes him not very fun to play until you get a decent weapon, which can take a good while.
>>
>>333317083
that lockpick tho
>>
>>333315465

Hunter so far. Doggo means I don't end up completely key starved as often, and the crossbow is quite strong for the first 2 chambers.

>>333316648
Cobaltstreak and Richard Hammer have been mararthoning the game for the last few days and have been giving out keys the entire time.

The devs have also been dumping keys in chat after each successful run.
>>
>>33331528
The most damage you can take at a time is one heart, which means no getting randomly instagibbed by one mistake. However the bosses at their hardest are harder than Throne bosses. You also get Shmup-style bombs every floor, although they only clear bullets rather than deal damage.

>>333316345
I was honestly worried that the dodge roll would ruin the game due to being iframes on demand, but it's surprisingly balanced. The end of it is unsafe and being forced to move in a staight line when tons of bullets are coming at you is very dangerous even if 3/4 of it is iframes.
>>
>>333316989
Dev said they're never ever doing online co-op

>And they need to be more direct on what the fuck the people you free do.
No kidding. I found some blue bullet in a cage, and I still haven't found out what he does.
>>
>>333317083
nut up or shut up kid
>>
>>333316894
It offers more gameplay than your average AAA game for 1/4 of the price. Not sure how you can call that short.
>>
>>333317287
are you fucking kidding me? online co-op would be way more fun that local shit, due to no one having any friends.

And I unlocked some edgy faggot and he didn't say anything and didn't even show up on the breach
>>
>>333317151
The lockpick and lower shop prices are nice, sure, but I just don't feel like playing with him much because he's not very fun until the first weapon pickup (assuming said pickup is even halfway decent), unlike all the other characters who have decent starting weapons.

Hunter's probably my favorite as far as starting weapons go - the Crossbow is a fantastic early game weapon, and the rusty revolver is a decent backup for dealing with small trash like the bats or splitting slimes.
>>
>>333317472
>online co-op would be way more fun that local shit

Devs said that they don't have the resources or expertise to implement online co-op, but one of them did hint at it possibly being added if the game ends up being really successful.
>>
>>333317271
>Cobalt
So I had to watch this absolute retard in order to win a key? I'm glad that I bought it normally then.
>>
>>333317457
does it really though? Is there actually gameplay to it? Is it crafted well and not just procedurally generated everything?

>>333317718
yeah Don't Starve said the same thing.
>>
>>333316989
I don't get this. Isaac and Nuclear Throne don't have online coop and people don't complain. I get the feeling people are only talking about this (and the dev brought it on themselves) by putting the occultist right there in the Breach like it's a major feature.

These days people just don't want to do local coop and putting it in will just make them complain about the lack of online coop.
>>
>>333317769
What does "actual gameplay" even mean?
>>
>>333318112
Is there gameplay beyond picking up new guns and adding them to some ever-expanding pool of shit, is what I mean. When you play the game do you ever get anywhere with it or is it just another dungeon crawler with no real end.
>>
>>333318225
>is there gameplay beyond the gameplay I arbitrarily described to suit my bias
So do you have an actual argument?

>>
>>333318225
It has gameplay. It has the mechanics of dodge roll, and plain movement allowing one to both scale difficulty and act dynamically. The dodge roll has i frames which allows for risk (hit after i frames) and reward (avoid damage). It has resource management (limited ammo and health. It has scalable difficulty (blanks, roll, and perfecting bosses to get extra hp, altars). It has a variety of enemies with different patterns and effects to give it variety. What do you mean, "Gameplay"? This game has it. Nearly any game has it.
>>
it's been pretty good so far, been on it nonstop since it came out.

bad:

- simplistic bullet hell
- every enemy has the same mechanic apart from those that charge you so there's whopping two gameplay mechanics total
- overpowered dodge
- minuscule damage you do makes fights drag on forever
- constant reload breaks the pacing further
- western pixelshit art design (goes without saying)
- le quip, le quirk, le reference, le get it?

good:

it shows that binding of isaac needs a patch where you can warp to rooms you already cleared.
>>

Fight him at long range - this will allow you to weave between most of his bullets without dodging, so you can keep the dodge ready for the moments when regular weaving isn't possible.

This strategy is applicable for all the level 1 bosses.

Best NT player here.
I've cleared my first pl of gungeon and I can safely say that it is easier by far if you compare end game content.

That does not mean that EtG is an easy game. But it will require a lot of practice until you nail down all the patterns.

What I like the most about this game is that there are no items or weapons that can carry the whole run to the point of trivializing it.
>>
Torrented it and having fun so far. I like having a dodge roll and there's a ton of environment interaction which is pretty cool.

Yes. That's what Don't starve TOGETHER is. Also they are being published by devolver, can't they hook them up with some devs with online expertise?

Only one I don't use is the Hunter. I tried her twice, that shitty gun and slow as fuck crossbow and worthless dog are no good. Pilot's starting weapon is pretty shitty, but I've been getting pretty lucky with the lockpick getting me into chests for a new weapon early on.
>>

>>
>>333318910
I don't really agree with most of your points, but I've been thinking of this too.
>- minuscule damage you do makes fights drag on forever
Most of the bosses have shitloads of HP, which becomes even worse if you don't happen to find a gun in the first floor.

It kind of feels like I'm constantly playing Isaac on hard-mode, with tanky enemies and game giving very few drops.
>>
>>333323391
Bullet King is pretty much the most predictable of the first level bosses once you learn his patterns. Trigger Twins is probably the most annoying. Trying to stay as far away as possible while still dealing damage works for all the first level bosses though.
>>
>>333323491
It's very hard compared to the twins and Gatlinggull. If you don't get a decent weapon he can shrek your shit

Is grinding for shortcuts worth it, I mean, do they give you anything aside from starting on a different floor? Seems quite silly if they don't give you anything else, you are better off being on the second floor after the first floor (because you can pick up guns, health, consumables) rather than starting on it.

Unlocking second level shortcut doesn't give you anything special, but you get free weapons from level 3 shortcut onwards (eg. if you jump to level 3, you get one free weapon, 2 by jumping to level 4, 3 by jumping to level 5)
>>
>>333324206
Quite possibly. The main difference is that this game shoves a lot more bullets onscreen than isaac does much more quickly, but you get dodge roll with iframes and screen clears to compensate.

Apparently there are, but the people who had the full game for the longest don't seem to have them yet.
Marine seems like the best character, honestly, better accuracy, quicker reloading, and an ammo refill.
However, I found that The Convict's Budget Revolver shoots faster if you click for each individual shot instead of just holding the mouse button down. That small clip size is still horrible, though.

What happens for me is the little fucks he spawns make his shit near impossible to dodge. Or they just spawn where I cant see and potshot me. OR they hide behind him.
He also seems to send out the missiles whenever I'm reloading, and sends the out often enough to where I cant clear his minions

For Snek I just dodge through everything she does, it makes her a joke.

The only thing that's ever hit me were some waves of her scream attack, it's also the only one you dont dodge through. Those little stray bullets in the gaps are what hits me, but you can just blank during that, and it cancels the whole move

Played NT for around 150hrs, average 2500 kills with CoB & Y.V. Played Gungeon for 7 hours straight and beat gungeon 4's boss, but the forge raped my ass... wasn't prepared for such horrors.

What can I say about this game that it indeed is very similiar to throne but much harder to get used to bullet hell parts v. overwhelming enemies. But enough grinding and you'll get good, and most importantly you'll get good and have fun at the same time.

I don't like Nuclear Throne in terms of design, but it's fun and everything dies in reasonable time. Plus the simple screen shake effect makes for better gunplay. This game feels extremely slow paced in comparison even with Isaac.

And from what I've seen, Nuclear Throne's weapons are far more varied: just the shotgun has several completely different iterations. Better pixelshit too.

I appreciate the effort that was put into this game, but vast majority of favourable reviews just showcases how vidya bloggers have no idea how important is the pacing for the game quality. There's another aspect of bad design in Gungeon. Most weapons are +1 and nothing more. Crossbow carries you through NT because you learn to use it to your advantage. You can't do shit with Gungeon weapons because they don't have any damage output. You can finish Nuclear Throne with a lead pipe.

The only thing that really makes rooms take longer is the new waves of enemies. Are you sure that's not the real problem you have with it?

I think the main problem you should have with Gungeon is that it can be argued that fucking Binding of Isaac, the game I hate on multiple levels can have better pacing.

I don't mind waves of enemies, I do mind that I don't feel like playing any of the level 1 bosses ever again because it takes ages to kill them. Isaac has that skinner box draw, gambling element where you wonder what's in the yellow room this time. Cheap tactic but it works.

>leaves act as bullets and pinecone is a grenade
>literally facerolling everything with it and it comes with an absurd amount of ammo (like 370 shots)
>get to third boss
>game crashes

well alright then....
also enemy variety is pretty weak so far and the bosses are more annoying than anything after the 4th,5th,6th playthrough but it could get better at later floors with more stuff unlocked
>>
>>333330848
How can people be this bad I don't even get it. It's like you've never played a game where enemies have had a decent chunk of health. I got to the 4th floor my first run on this. I've also killed the floor 1 and floor 2 bosses with just the starting pistols without any issue. Some weapons are stronger than others and that's just the way these games work.
I still don't know how it takes you so long to kill the bosses if it doesn't even take long with the shitty starting pistols.
>>
>>333330848
>Isaac has that skinner box draw, gambling element where you wonder what's in the yellow room this time.

>I can't rebind them to different keys on my fucking keyboard?

Use your eyes in the options menu, you dolt, you can rebind all the keyboard controls

>How do you free the npcs out of the jail cells if the keys don't work?

You need cell keys, which you can find somewhere on the same level, worst case you need to beat the boss to get it
>>
>>333331802
how the hell do you get to the secret floor?
>>
>>333331384
I still fail to see how it's an issue.
Its the price that's paid for random generation.
Getting to higher levels doesn't always mean you're always going to get 100% better stuff than what you already have and there's nothing wrong with that.
There are games without any random generation that have worse pacing, lots of them do honestly.

You know that fireplace with the big portrait above it? You have to extinguish the fire somehow, usually with a water barrel.

Good luck finding keys.
>>
>>333332056
Somewhere in level 1 there's a fireplace. Somewhere else there's a water barrel (or two). You need to roll a water barrel into the fireplace (you can also do this with a water projectile gun if you happen to pick one up), which allows you to walk into it and toggle a secret switch. This opens a secret room with a double-locked grate in it. Opening this grate allows you to access the first secret floor.

In the secret floor, you will come across an unique armor pickup called "Old Armor". This is the item you can bring to the altar on level 2, which apparently gives you access to the second secret level. However, something to keep in mind is that the old armor, after picked up, acts like any other armor, so if you get hit, you lose it. As such, ideally you'll pick it up after you're done with the secret floor and ready to move on to level 2 proper, after which you'll need to find the altar without getting hit once.
>>
>>333332096
I was arguing that the issue is that you spend first 10 minutes doing chore-like gameplay that pays off in minuscule power creep. It's the worst sort of design you can have in a shooter, much more a bullet hell one.
>>
>>333332458
jesus, so what happens if you manage to carry all the secret shit from altar to altar to the end of the game?
>>
>>333332723
I have no idea. I've only beaten the first secret level once so far and I failed at bringing the Old Armor to the altar on level 2 because I picked it up so early into the secret level.
>>
>>333332694
Just the way the cookie crumbles. You have good runs and bad runs. Its that way in any game with any kind of random loot generation. Shit happens in MMOs and dungeon crawlers and shit as well and those take even longer.

This is literally how a boss is designed in this game. Zero fucking effort. In fact this 30 second drawing I made in mspaint looks better than the original.
>>
>>333332918
There is no possibility of a 'good run' in Gungeon when talking about the first floor. The game is designed around power creep; it creeps. Isaac is designed around gambling so you can get overpowered near instantly. Nuclear Throne is designed around every weapon being viable.
>>

He shoots a lot of bullets, but his patterns are probably the most consistent out of all the first level bosses. Stay clam and keep your distance (this is really the key part) and it'll be pretty easy to dodge all of them even without the dodge roll. The attack to most watch out for is the big bullet that splits into several smaller bullets.

Adding to this, I feel like an asshole going PEW PEW PEW to kill even weaker enemies. Hunter is good because she starts with a weapon that lets you one-shot most of the weaker enemies on the first floor, and some even on the second one.
Even if strong weapon has big reload time, and even if rapid-fire weapon would kill enemy faster, I still prefer using one that deals lots of damage at once.
It kinda feels like there's not enough ways to influence what you get?

Pass on it then. It's balanced around having enemies that are fewer in number but tougher individually. Gunfights are more strictly about maneuvering the arena while timing your reloads, cover, weapon swaps and item usage.

It stays far away from NT's frenetic pace. A closer comparison would be a shmup version of Rogue Legacy

Loving the game so far, it's just a shame how 'meh' the soundtrack seems. I haven't really caught any part of a track that made me go "Oh shit that's good"

Heck, even constantly having to hear DUN NA NA NA NA NAAAAAAAAAA every time I restarted a run in Nuclear Throne, it grew on me, and there were themes like YV's crib and the turtles level in the sewers, those were rad. So far, I haven't even noticed Gungeon's music at all.

cog of war is nice, but Ive only found it once. unlike BoI, you don't get your first item right next to you when starting the game. you have to hunt around for it. most of them so far hardly seem like anything you can make a build around anyways, other than just hoping for an automatic weapon

I think this just happens when people have been enjoying something for a while but are getting tired of it, so they look to something else to be an iteration on that thing they love.

That's what happened with me back when I was playing the fuck out of MW2. After I got sick of it, I just kept trying to find something that felt just like it but was different enough to feel fresh. Bought BF3 and, although it was a fine game but all the little things that made it NOT MW2 fucking made me hate it. Lower weapon damage, longer movement animations (vaulting over objects etc). Couldn't fucking stand to play it.

Just a side effect of coming in to something with the wrong mindset.

Naw, this game has much more polish than NT. I can see it being bigger especially for the Isaac crowd. Plus Ive never been shreked by randomly generated maps in this game. Ive been but in bad situations but that's more of a tough luck git gud situation. NT loved to put me in the middle of a robot filled tundra for spawn four snipers behind the Big Dog. Plus the luck in the game got annoying at times. Passing up guns just to get two melee's and a shit gun isn't fun. Getting multiple bad mutations in a row sucks ass. So far in gungeon I haven't found a gun that didn't benefit me at least a little.

In the time you beat this game once you could finish any touhou game, maybe even twice.

Touhou isn't about killing the bosses, it's about dodging the patterns.
This game is in this weird middle where the shooting isn't that satisfying and the patterns aren't that complex.

The combat in the game is INCREDIBLY similar to NT, right down to the red/white projectiles. Comparisons between the two games will be inevitable, but I'd argue the rest of the game stands out from both it and Isaac.

It's

It's been a while since I've seen someone buttblasted over some gamemaker indie game that's been shadowed by some unity indie game

but really, why are you so mad though? people are having fun, isaac streamers are having fun, there's no harm done
>>
>>333355891
100x less fun and interesting than isaac, so probably no
>>
>>333339752
>They still haven't released a patch for the ps4 or vita
I lost faith in them honestly they fucked up the launch on PC and consoles unbelievably bad. I even bought the game multiple times and I wish I hadn't at this point even though I love it.
>>
>>333355891
Unlikely
Despite what that NT shill is rambling about this game is way more like Isaac than NT
It's actually slower
>>
>>333355982
But Isaac is one of the least fun games ever
It literally boils down to
>get op immediately
Or
>quit and retry
Shits not fun and is a literal rng simulator with slow every thing
>>
>>333355891
Probably not, but maybe
>>
>>333356059
Basically this game's problem, too.
You need to get a good gun 1st floor or you're going to have a bad time.
>>
>>333356219

That's why I go Hunter

Crossbow usually does me good for the first two chambers before I really need a good gun to not get fucked over by Chamber 3

>>
>>333355936
The harm that's done is that it incentivizes talented game creators to create shallow garbage instead of taking risks because it doesn't guarantee success.

It affects the people making games and people who like complex games with depth.

Too videogamey, needs a decent story
Western garbage is not plus too
Games like these are cool for kids but for adults a good story is also needed.
>>
>>333356219
I also feel that Isaac is way more lenient. Even if you get hit few times, you're likely to have enough health at the end of the floor to lose it on purpose.
On Gungeon it's common not to get any health drops before beating the boss of the floor. It's also likely that you won't get extra keys or anything. While that can happen in Isaac too, it's more common to get something than to not.
>>
>>333356479
>Too videogamey, needs a decent story
t. A retard attempting to parody people who want good videogames, but is too pretentious and retarded to even understand the arguments about what makes a game good.

What's the best starting class?

Controller or kb+m?

Hunter.

Either, controller support's solid.

I never played Isaac, but it does suck to not play perfectly and be down to 1 or 2 hits to death by the second floor boss.

I accept that I'm a shitter, but this game doesn't hold your hand at all.

For controller, depends on what you feel better with. I like having a crosshair personally, so I use keyboard and mouse.
I think Marine is the best character overall, better accuracy, reloading, and rechargeable max-ammo. Though, everyone will find something in some character.
>>
>>333356679
Depends.
Do you feel lucky? Go with Pilot.
Want better stats for longer run? Marine.
Need more drops, and bit stronger weapon? Hunter.
Just want damage? Convict.

Personally I like going with Hunter. I'm not getting far enough yet to make use of Marine's better accuracy/reloading, whenever I use Pilot's item to try unlocking something and it jams I just feel like a sucker, and Convict's "get hit for extra damage" seems counter-productive when you want to avoid damage in bosses.
>>
>>333356905

But the ammo drop is a one-time use, unless there's something I'm missing.
>>
>>333356820
My general tips, don't conserve your Blanks. More often than not you just forget about them and never use any.

I think hacking damage up would be overkill. I'm playing at 1.5 speed and it feels fantastic. Running is fast, dodging is fast, bullets are fast, fire rate is fast, and consequently enemies die fast. The game is also significantly harder too.

If the game feels too slow then I really recommend just slapping cheat engine onto it and modifying the game speed.

The tank is disproportionately difficult for where it is. Seems nesr impossible without full health or multiple blanks

It could be worse, it could be a $60 game. EtG is $13, it's basically the same as getting food at a mediocre restaurant.

I have to agree. Especially with weapon part and shooting mechanics. There is literally no such feel of satisfaction as with Nuclear Throne when you get REALLY cool weapon.

The only reason NT loses is because le 30fps bullshit due to inexperienced dev.
>>
>>333358984

NT also loses due to bugs, crashes, and devs not giving a shit despite that the game has been released for four months. Their console versions are even more fucked up than the PC version

Never had single one. In fact, never had any issues with any GameMaker game with crashes or bugs.

>>
>>333359642
Just because you don't doesn't mean other people don't. Nuclear Throne is notorious for crashing all the time for absolutely no reason. It doesn't happen to me often but it still does and it's pretty much unnaceptable.
>>
>>333355009
theres an m16 and a single action army thats what ive seen so far
>>
>>333359642

If you main as Rogue, it'd be a different story. Rogue's portal strike canisters spawn probably 60% of the time; the other 40%, you're out of luck.

And you actually never had any crash? I call either bs or you've only been playing for less than 10 hours.

I have NT too. They're not mutually exclusive games where you can only have one at a time. If you're looking to replace NT with something, I'd suggest waiting for something else. EtG is more like Isaac

Yep, not a single one. It is weird, i don't have single issue with Gm games... except shitty 30fps and often non-returnable controls.

>>333359850
yeah I was just saying I neevr had any, it because GM stabiltiy REALLY depends on the system
>>
>>333358713
You're probably right. The first floor is a cakewalk compared to the rest and I bump it up enough for first floor to be relatively challenging. (Granted I'm also playing the Pilot who has the worst starting gun in the entire game.)

The game certainly does get really hard by the end and I'm basically just hoping that the ramped up difficulty curve will prepare me to play the endgame at that speed.

And really, for me difficulty really isn't the main point. I just like the way the speed feels in terms of timings and overall pace.
>>
>>333360172
This desu
I love nuclear throne and have 200 hours across my vita and pc but this game just isn't like it honestly. It's more akin to binding of Isaac but I enjoy it much more than that. I can see myself getting a lot of hours out of this game though.
>>
>>333325026
You would have to find two of them, and I'm fairly certain the same gun doesn't drop more than once in 'co-op, nor do continuous laser weapons bounce.
>>
So, I found an yellow alien looking dude and opened his cell. He just spoke some alient shit in an unintelligible language and didn't return to the breach afterwards.

What should I have done?
>>
Unbiased nigger here.

Things I like about EtG over NT:

-Feels much smoother.
-Much nicer aesthetic.
-Combat feels better (probably because of #1)
-Getting hit feels punishing without feeling unfair like NT is at times.
-Can access secret levels without having to rely on RNG
-More uniqueness between runs. A lot of NT runs feel samey because you take mostly the same mutations when they show up and then rely on the same weapon archetypes.

Things I like about NT over EtG:

-Feels far less dependent on RNG.
-EtG has too many useless or just "eh" weapons compared to NT. NT's gun modifiers make the weapon archetypes feel better, as well.
-Unlike NT, where you can get through a majority of the game with a wrench, it doesn't feel like the base weapon is possible.
-MUCH faster gameplay. You can loops several times in NT in the amount of time it takes to complete a single EtG run.
-A lot more synergies between Mutations<->Weapons than EtG has for Passives<->Weapons.
-Different characters feel far more unique because of the actives.

In short, which is better? Both are great man. Stop crying about which cake tastes better and start feeling good about how we got 2 different types of cakes to enjoy.

Disagree. Simplicity of NT level design did not overload you with irrelevanti nformation and made screen reading easier.

NT with 60fps update

>Disagree. Simplicity of NT level design did not overload you with irrelevanti nformation and made screen reading easier.

I gotta agree with this, actually. Even worse is when they have things that look like decorations actually effect your movement/bullets. Can't count the amount of times I've fired a gun and it got blocked by a piece of cheese on the table.

>NT with 60fps update

I dunno. I just feel like "why argue about which is better when both are great in their own right?" I'd rather focus on how awesome it is that we have 2 great and affordable games with good replayability to choose from instead. Both games could have easily been worth the price at $25.

This is my biggest complaint. The weapons are rarely good. There's at least ways you can (fairly reliably) get yourself a good damage in Isaac through devil deals. I'm not seeing anything like that in EtG. Especially when the game is fucking stingy as goddamn hell with keys.

Google Cheat Engine. It has a very easy to use speedhack right in the client.

>>333363305
the items seem to be either really great or totally worthless. the cartographer's ring even has a pretty good chance to do literally nothing at all for your entire run, since all it does is give you a chance to discover the map when you enter the next floor

i end up recycling all my items, getting more garbage, and recycling that in the hopes of eventually getting something worth keeping
>>
>>333363305
There are some risk-reward mechanics in the game, the issue is actually getting them. Spice and Cigarettes for example are awesome.
>>
>>333363305
Every weapon with explosions is godlike, especially on bosses.
It's basically this games version of the energy sword. Taking the bullet outta bullet hell
>>
>>333314417

Only gripe I have with it is it's fucking SLOW as shit. Even with the ability to teleport. Takes long to clear a big room and THEN when you kill the enemies 50% of the time more enemies will respawn in.

I liked the pacing of Nuclear Throne a lot better. Clearing a whole level in a minute or less as opposed to 10 minutes on Enter the Gungeon.

You guys just firing the weapon for 2 seconds and then discarding it, or just getting really shitty luck?
>>
>>333364130

Shitty luck, I guess. I've found a few useful weapons, but most of them have been "I guess I'll use this instead of wasting ammo on the good weapon" trash.
