The 2000 series are slimmer with a LCD screen. It chargers with a MiroUSB like you phone. It also has 1GB of internal storage but it is totally useless.
2000 come in more colors and import what you like. Vitas are more then region free.

Since you want to get one for PSOne classics, I'd definitely recommend a used one. You'll definitely want a 16 gig since those are gonna go eat up memory pretty quickly. If you ever do get games for the Vita, try and get physical when you can.
However, if you do plan to go digital, a 32 GB is absolutely necessary. Also you'll need to either shop around or wait for sales on those since those suckers are expensive.

If you can find an OLED PS Vita (PCH-1000) brand new, grab it.
Otherwise, the price difference between a brand new PCH-2000 and a used PCH-1000 shouldn't be too great, so just grab a brand new 2000 if you can't find a brand new 1000.
2000 has 1GB intergrated, but you can't use it in tandem with a memory card. 1000 has a OLED screen, 2000 LCD.

The Vita uses a proprietary memory card meaning that it doesn't just accept any old random one, only official ones by Sony. Unfortunately since they are in high demand and not an insane supply of them are out, they're expensive to get and a 64GB can cost as much as a used Vita.

Memory cards are $25 to $100. Most games are digital only, or out of print and only available digital. Make sure you know what games you are interested in, so you don't get stuck with a $200 paperweight than needs another $50 to play what you are interested in.

I would suggest against it. I got it when it was a PSN+ deal a few months ago, put a few hours into it and said nope. I love hunting games and their ripoffs but that one's just not very good. You'd be better off with nearly any other hunting game or just getting one of the PSP monhuns on psn instead if you want to try one.

As for your stuff in here I would say either Muramasa or P4G next. If you've played P4 then delay it a bit and go for Digimon, Atelier or Dragons Crown instead. Also look into Dungeon Travelers 2, if you like dungeon crawlers it is pretty great.
Rogue legacy is fun but is more of a small burst game because you can do entire characters that just make no progress. Helldivers is kinda eh, got it on psn+ as well. Haven't really played the others enough to say much. Played the original Soul sacrifice a bit, but have no idea how much delta added/improved so I won't say anything

Don't go used, find a boxed one before it's too late. Refurbs have terrible battery issues. One of the selling points is the length the battery lasts. And buy a PSTV to go with it, that way you wont be disappointed when you cant play on TV. Buy as many games as you can retail, the memory cards are so expensive you'll want to add another $50 for a decent sized one, since they are proprietary and you wont be able to buy them soon.
