I'm trying to get the hang of the combos in Pokken, maining Machamp, any tips for getting good?
I've also been trying to unlock all the Expert 100 Mario Challenge costumes, as well as the Hard Gnat Attack costume. It's a slow going process...

I'm back to Super Mario 3D World Again, but would like to get into Bayonetta 2 once more before my backlog increases several folds. Bout to get Star Fox, Bravely Second, and God knows what else is on the horizon.

I'm playing a lot of Pokken lately, just unlocked Mewtwo yesterday. I also started playing online with agirland after beating her soundly several times in a row, she sat down and played the game for 20 hours straight. Now I don't stand a chance. It's pretty fun.

You can play almost every game without a tablet. Splatoon, however, use the touch screen for jumping to your allies and for the map. Not to mention the gyro controls are pretty nice.

It's too big and clunky-looking, and frankly I don't like the idea of having to constantly look down at my lap instead of looking at the actual game.
I think the Gamecube controller (for example) is too small for my hands and gives me awful carpel tunnel, but the Wii U just seems like the same extreme but in the opposite direction.

So you haven't actually tried it? It's a very well-designed controller from an ergonomic standpoint. It may not look like it, but that thing sits really great in your hands, and feels pretty much like using a normal controller, only your hands are more spaced apart than usual.
Find a way to try the controller out before judging it. Also, for games where using the pad is optional, I find that I more often just play on the pad's screen than on the TV for some reason. Does anyone else do this?

I actually end up finding it more comfortable to look at the GamePad screen, rather than the TV. Just the way you can move around and look at it whereever is convinient.
