I hope people were killed for making this abomination.

>implying it isn't a technical marvel despite being a shit game
IK, billboard LOD trees, heightmaps, rigid bodies, etc. Impressive but unfortunately over ambitious piece of tech.
I remember thinking it was too fucking hard since melee weapons were broken.

>I hope people were killed for making Steven Spielberg a shitty game he could show off with
Fuck you, shit was unreasonable
>>333221006
but it had the BREAST regenerating health meter anon!
>>333221006
trespasser is pretty fucking cool especially considering the time it was released
it is an unfinished mess though
>>333221006
Tresspasser was flawed, but I'm glad it was made purely for the Attenborough voiceover and Research Indicates LP.
Being ambitious should be applauded even if it fails. Trespasser might be the most ambitious game ever. Imagine if it actually turned out like they wanted.

I don't disagree but I'm gonna meme on you anyway

best part of the game

some puzzles are ok too

it was to early for its time, and it pretty much destroyed any chance for a similar jurassic park game. I thought it was fun using cheats and screwing around

when it works it's pretty cool
>>333221006
That game had so many interesting (not necessarily good) ideas. It was a pile of shit, but I wish there were games that were that ambitious that came out today.
>>333223036
When it doesn't work it's even cooler.
>>333223036
this is how 3D shit will work
and it will suck

>Trespasser in VR
yo seriously I want this

>in cryengine
I'm okay with this.

For a moment I thought you were shittalking Primal Rage from the image.
Fuck I'm tired, they don't even look anything alike.
Trespasser might have been shit, but it's the most enjoyable and interesting piece of shit I've played.
You could see what the devs were going for and how they sort of got it there, only for it to be a cool trainwreck in the end. And Richard Attenborough narrations were top tier.
My dad bought it for me when it came out. I remember the atmosphere and ambience scared the shit out of me. Took me so long to beat. I didn't know any better, so I could barely tell it was a terrible game, I thought I was just a bad player.
Still have it in my CD booklet with a few other cool JP games. Really wish I kept their boxes and manuals.
