Hands down the best 1 on 1 fighter
mvc2 is on par in terms of funness and greatness
Good music and art direction.
The animation was really fluid and it just had an atmosphere that was somewhat surreal.
I don't think there will be another game like it.

I agree. SF2 was fantastic for it's time and deserves all the praise it gets for essentially setting the ground on what a good fighting game should be. However nowadays people have took the formula SF2 set and has done a lot better with it. SF2 fully deserves all the respect it earned, but that doesn't mean you have to consider it the best fighting game forever. Best SF though, go nuts with that argument

I'm actually really enjoying SFV, i like the newcomers and the gameplay and mechanics work well. I never played 3rd strike but iv'e played a lot of other fightan games and i have to say SFV is my favorite.
