So, after reading some of the posts around previous threads, let me see if I got things right.

Basically, one guy made a half-assed shitty fighting engine to show a veteran programmer in front of all his friends, got confirmation that his engine was shitty and needed much more work, and instead of taking the criticism to get better at coding and improve his fighting engine, he got poopyblasted that "his hero had humilliated him in front of all his friends" and went to make a shitty simulator game?

And now that other people are sending e-mails about bugs or suggestions or whatnot, he's getting poopyblasted again, not to mention one of the complaints is that his e-mail address is getting flooded, despite the fact that he could just make another account to use for things related to his game?

I think a larger part of responsibly posting has to do with keeping the quality of the board in check.

If you report shit threads and shit posts that's a start, but another way of having a thread go deleted is to not give it the attention it craves for, by not posting in it or using the sage function when posting in it. This ensures the quality of the board.

Another important part of ensuring board quality is not playing pretend janitor.
Everytime you spam a thread like this, you're starting an argument that otherwise wouldn't have happened and prolong the life of the thread far beyond what you would perhaps have wanted.

Throwing a little tantrum every time you see a topic or a tripfag you don't like is also contrary to the overall quality of the board.
