Appeals to the casual audience who are too dumb to play half life

Mostly all the "social justice" content was rubbed in your face so thoroughly that everybody knew which option led to what, with no ambiguity that people chalked up to bad writinglike Fallout 3 & 4.
Other than that... meh. Comstock being an alternate universe version of the player was so obvious it doesn't even merit a spoiler tag.
>>333176845
What "social justice content"? It played like any other fucking story driven fps. Why do you fucking neck beard always grasp at straws when it comes to shit like this.
>>333175716
l i t e r a l l y nothing.
>>333175716
Nothing. Shit gameplay, shit story, shit everything, downgraded tits.

Visuals looked great, the relationship between the two protagonists was great and the combat felt satisfying. I wasn't sure what I didn't really like about it, I never finished it but I really don't know why.

I can't think of one thing.
The porn isn't even that great. Elisebeth isn't that attractive,
REally good presentation which is why most people loved it
Whats up with that part at the beginning of the game? The part with the small fair ground and one of the first booths you walk up to, Booker all of a sudden has the bucking bronco power without even drinking anything. He has no reaction to having this power even though its the first vigor he ever came across. You play the booths game and then its gone.

The setting is great, it looks nice, and Elizabeth is a pretty good companion. But that's about it.
>>333175716
Deep, insightful commentary on American exceptionalism and racism.
>More colorful than most new games at the time
>WHOAMG CUHRAAZY twist at the end
>decent gunplay
>likeable enough characters and world
WAIT
>>333175716
Columbia looked pretty. That's about it. Disregard >>333175814 because Elizabeth is baby's first Disney waifu. She's a shitty version of Rapunzel.
Visual and environmental design, the overall atmosphere was brilliant
Other than that and Elizabeth porn, it was trash
>>333175716
gruff, rugged male posing with gun and fair maiden in background with face suggesting begging for help.
Orange blue contrast, american flag, embers suggesting altercation.
The cover alone sold a lot, not to mention the legacy it built on.
From a marketing perspective great, anything further than that, not so great.

>decent gunplay
No.
>likeable enough characters and world
Entirely subjective and many people would vehemently disagree.
