Patch 2.0 (even if you don't buy the addon) breaks mod support (which destroys your savegames if you are really un-lucky) for both games, bg1 ee and bg2 ee.
Patch 2.0 broke multiplayer too and it added a feature/bug that when you load the game a couple of times the difficulty lowers itself without asking because the game thinks you are struggling. Load often enough and it will enable godmode for you.

But these people do not know how to write characters and instead give us stereotypes.
