I think the next Mass Effect game will be shite.
Not because I'm in any way salty over ME3. Sure, the ending was terrible, but I really liked the stuff leading up to it.
No, it's because I don't have any faith that Bioware can hack it any more when it comes to writing.
Look at Dragon Age Inquisition. Several websites claimed it was the best RPG of 2014 and then, just 7 months later, we get the Witcher 3... a game that highlights just how much of a joke DAI is.
Granted, the Dragon Age games have always been a cashgrab for Bioware; trite fantasy tropes, shat out to be eaten up by plebs, so they can acquire funds to fund their REAL games series Mass Effect, but so much has happened in gaming since ME3
I have no idea who is left at the writing staff at Bioware, but if it's the same ones who worked on DA:I and spend all their breaks reading Twilight, 50 Shades of Grey and Polygon, then Mass Effect Andromeda will be an absolute trainwreck.
Just remember, you can fight like a krogan, run like a leopard but you'll never be better than Commander Shepard.

I'd be more concerned with the the fact that all the senior staff are leaving the company. The most senior staff member working on Andromeda at this point is a fucking intern.
I have the first three games to play whenever i want and with mods for better graphics and even to fix some dialogues on ME3 and the ending (MEHEM) so i don't care.

That, of course, never happened.
Instead Bioware drank the extreme leftist SJW kool-aid and went fucking insane shoehorning their ideological crap into the game in ways it didn't and couldn't fit, because of massively incompetent writers.
And that's just on top of the incompetent animators and art team. I think the only capable hands at the studio were the programmers and I'd be willing to bet actual money almost all of the programmers were white males.

You are a fucking fool if you believe this. There are but a handful of redeeming factors in an entire sea of garbage that is Mass Effect 3. The best VA's and writing held behind the DLC pay walls, the stalking-a-phone-call-to-get-a-quest, the utter lack of tension between females you party up with during missions but have romanced on previous games, the lack of thought that went into everything and anything, spending most of the game rewriting Mass Effect 1 lore instead of expanding on it, etc..
Mass Effect was truly awful and Andromeda will only be worse.

You must find suitable planets to begin colonizing, good for each race while being close enough to maintain constant contact amongst each other in the face of enemies coming to impede you.
You choose a crack security crew from the best of each race, or all of one race if you so choose, and your choices will determine which race comes out dominant amongst the colonists. You help upgrade colonies, set up economy and agriculture, you walk among the colonies and see them rise or fall depending on your choices and the strength of your enemies. You customize the colonies somewhat in a light city-sim management style while interacting with people in an RPG way. You must make allies of the new alien species while warring with others. Anno meets Baldur's Gate.
Instead well get an MMOFPS light. You are just a member of security. You and other players will be put into a shitty server where you and 3 others will fight against waves and waves of stupidly designed bipedal aliens and get points based on how many you kill and how stylish it was. You will upgrade your character, but nothing else. You can choose what race you are and class like in ME3 multiplayer, but beyond that it will just be an MMO-lite FPS experience ala DUST or Planetside 2. Why do I think this? Because one idea is actually fun and sounds like a good game and the other sounds easy and cheap, so Bioware will do what is easy and cheap and make a dumb multiplayer squad game based ever so loosely on the Mass Effect franchise.
