the horrible use of motion blur is triggering my motion sickness hard. I can understand doing it while driving a car to hide the texture pop in, but when the character walks and look around it just triggers every 2-3 seconds for no real reason.

Not sure what I expected.
But I know for a fact, shoe horning in vehicle sections is a great way to destroy any real fun.
Look at Batman Arkham Knight. The Arkham games were generally fun, and well made with pretty good pacing and world traversal. Then they made these stupid fucking shooting and driving sections in the Batmobile which literally are the most unfun thing in the game.
This looks the same. Huge world, with nothing in it just to drive around in for the sake of length.
Not that Uncharted was really anything special. It's a cover shooter with Prince of Persia climbing.

This is the fundamental problem with the Uncharted series.
It's just not fun.
There are some parts of Uncharted that are fun, but it's almost always just a gauntlet of fodder for you to kill while hiding behind indestructible cover. It turns the entire game into a fucking slog through the molasses of generic soldiers.
This looks to be exactly the same, except they've added gratuitously long vehicle sections to pad the length even more.
It's all so formulaic. It would actually make me more interested or engaged if you know, they just found the treasure without running into a military group every 10 steps.

That's very likely exactly what it's doing.
Dynamic resolution is a great feature and a godsend to console games honestly. Also Naughty Dog is pretty notorious for having tons of adaptive assets in their games to keep performance up, drakeface and all that.

I don't know shit about battlefront (hence the ?), but i heard a lot of people saying it was a good looking game. And don't forget it runs at 60fps, while uncharted solo runs like shit (aka the 30 motion blur experience). I don't even bring the uncharted 4 multi 60fps beta into the mix because it was a complete joke (looked like complete shit).
