What am I in for /v/?
Compatibility issues.
a controller
what the fuck do you expect
>>333153848
A controller.
>>333153848
Should have bought a DS4
>>333153848
Shitty bumper buttons
Better dpad but annoyingly clickey lb and rb buttons that ruin it for me
>>333153848
The best standard controller in the history of consoles.
>>333153848
Some face buttons, a d-pad and analogue sticks, shoulder buttons, and triggers.
>>333153848
Don't do it, the D-Pad is awful
>>333153912
Don't listen to this faggot. he doesn't know shit
A Microsoft xbox one controller wired usb pc black.
>>333153904
not even close
Should I get a DS4 for pc video games? I heard they're not as annoying as DS3 and the bluetooth is fine but they're 90 bucks here and I could get at least 45 chicken and mayo burgers with that.

my hands hurt after a couple hours of DS4. Also the symmetrical layout is retarded unlike the xbox which is easy to use - your hands are supposed to be on the same level not one below the other.
>>333154003
I have a DS4, pretty damn good once you install the drivers and get it working properly. Definitely my favourite controller for modern games.
>>333154062
I've been using symmetrical layouts for most of my life to be honest. I don't dig the xbones bumpers and pad positioning, otherwise I'd get one of them.
>>333154003
I don't like DS4 analogue texture. Of course maybe DS3 was the same but I didn't notice it because I didn't play for long enough, but after a few hours my thumbs felt kind of raw on the dimpled DS4 rubber. Of course if you play console regularly it probably wouldn't even phase you as you'd be used to it.

DS4Win works for anything, working as an xbone wrapper; but try playing games without it first, because a lot of modern releases have native DS4 support.
I've been playing Ass Creed Syndicate recently and it works perfect.
>>333153848
Isn't the 'wired PC' one just a wireless Bone controller with a really shitty, short micro-usb cable included?
I'd recommend just getting the base controller and an Amazonbasics cable or something
>>333154395
I play guitar so a dimpled soft rubber doesn't bother me
I'm not sure how it would bother anyone
>>333153848
A barely passable d-pad
>>333154003
no
pc support for dual shock is shit
get a cheap wired 360 controller instead
So how is the xbone's dpad? I've been wanting to get a new controller for fighting games, (using a PS3 atm) and I've heard only good things. Something I want to know is if the bumper and trigger and awkward to press at the same time, like a ps4 controllers are, or if the analog stick gets in the way.

A slight improvement over the d-pad from the 360 controller but still bad for today's standards
You know, I've been watching random streams of Dark Souls III lately and I noticed that the xbone controller has extremely noisy buttons. Like, the damn thing would be actually louder than the streamer yelling dank memes.
Is this the elite controller or every xbone controller has extremely shitty buttons? I've had a 360 hooked up to my PC for a year now and holy shit, the buttons don't feel very good on that thing either.
>>333153848
shit you bought the wrong one.
>>333158775
>slight improvement over the d-pad from the 360 controller but still bad for today's standards
That shit was terrible even for 2006 standards. Newer black controller aren't all that better either.
>>333158634
It's like a Madcatz SNES d-pad. Removing the diagonals makes accidentals directions less common but it's so hard and click to the point it's uncomfortable
>>333153848
Should of bought the steam controller.
>>333159062
>Censored dpad
>100 FREEDOM DOLLARS
N-no thanks
>>333159330
t. poorfag
>>333159330
people pay $100 for fight sticks
what's the difference
>>333159062
>needed its own e3 dubstep trailer
god that was awful
>>333159062
I have this. It's amazing. Didn't use the back buttons for anything yet though, it's really easy to press them by accident
>>333159330
Dpad is changable, there is second one included
