Yea I just completed the game last week
Its not excellent but I don't see how people call it the worst tales ever
The fusion system is confusing but once you know how it works it can actually be very fun, though you need to spend lots of time on this fucking thing to get it to optimum (like the x2,x3 skills in higher difficulties)

There's no combos and certainly no curayzee. Its basic as fuck and embarrassing compared to other titles in the series. Even fucking Symphonia, the most basic of the 3D games has better gameplay.

I liked the cast and story and the combat was better than people give it credit for (though to be fair half of my satisfaction with it is that it enables me to use the entire party in pretty much every fight), but damn that fucking camera is terrible.

Nah, I was just really really bored and nothing else caught my interest at the time. Also again, I was hoping it would get better but then it suddenly ended. The pacing was so horrible I actually didn't notice I was in endgame.
It doesn't take much to entertain me. I even liked GracesF characters beyond the main story which was generic as all hell. Zestiria is a special kind of bad for me to hate it in its entirety.
