Save up or no?
First one is kinda eh. Just play victory, they're all pretty much standalone.
Pirate it. Try it out before you buy.
Fap to the porn instead.
Oh wait, there's none.

You're playing it for the story, and the story is great. The gameplay is just there to occupy your time in the world. They're pretty fun as games (and you can freely make them harder or easier if you want to grind or just casually play through) and they're goddamn amazing as a visual novel.
They're shit jesus christ, don't let /v/ trick you into playing this OP.
there are infintely better games on steam that are just as moe and more fun.

The games on GOG, it's a simple pirate. I ended up really loving the game and eventually bought a bundle pack on steam for Re1-3. It's pretty anime girls being cute, it's got some grind to it and you'll definitely have to make use of the monster drops list on the steam community hub if you want to complete Plans.

Fuck no. The dialogue in this game is the most inane shit I've ever experienced, endless lines of pudding, puns and friendship. Not the heartfelt true bonding shit either, just constantly repeating "We're friends, holy shit!". Bloody game killed more of my brain cells than alcoholism ever did.

Diologue is epic though

dank nep-memes
Or you can not buy it and completely skip over the series.
There are better weeb games out there and neptunia is like bottom of the barrel.
