This had the best cyberpunk setting of last gen. You can tell the devs put a lot of love into the environment and the lore. I feel like if it had been a QTE cinematic experience, it would've been better received.

>You can tell the devs put a lot of love into the environment and the lore.
It's the future, global warming has raised the sea level flooding many cities and you can now erase your unwanted memories but doing so may make you get a mysterious nonsense disease. There, that's the entirety of the "lore" to Remember Me.
Oh, and the environment was designed by an independent concept artist that Sony hired back when they were funding the game and it actually seemed like it might be good.

This is the problem with AAA games these days. Gameplay and replayability is sacrificed for games that look great, because they try to sell them like movies.

I never claimed this game had anything going for it but its visuals.

this game was beautiful, the team's got some really talented artists on it
I'm sad that they probably won't get another budget of that size again. Life is Strange was cute and all but doesn't even come close to operating on the same level. Maybe Vampyr will give them more to play wi th

I played the game for 3 hours and didn't have a single moment where the game wasn't holding my hand and forcing me through a tutorial, cutscene, or QTE.
It may be pretty, but that doesn't mean much when I'd rather watch paint dry than play it again.

What is it, 2007? At minimum you should be posting screenshots at 2560x1440, and ideally you'd actually post 3840x2160 shots.

Yea the game look really nice, too bad the combat system was shit

Mhm.
Soundtrack was decent too.

I didn't really mind the combat. At least I had time to admire the animations, because fights weren't very engaging.
