That's cause the format of drawthreads is all wrong. This is still /v/, we should talk about video games and use that as the springboard for posting vidya drawings and finding inspiration for future art. You know, like a normal thread and specifically one that doesn't have to be up at all times.
The current format is stagnant because there 'isn't anything'. No discussion and no content, just reposts asking someone else to be productive. It's a crappy environment and doesn't encourage participation. Right now this is like a thread version of /vg/ where everyone has their own space and nobody communicates with each other.
