Try being super young with that rc copter mission. I think I was about 11 when I played it. I can do it now no problem, but back then it was a legitimate roadblock and I still see it as the hardest mission in the game.

I beat this on my second try back when I first played SA on the PS2. When I played the game again a few years ago, I beat it on my first try, and then when I played it again earlier this year, also on my first try.
It's not really that hard. You can land the plane when you get near one of the targets and then bus it along the ground to line it up to shoot them. Saves you a massive amount of fuel and makes lining up shots that much easier.

Yeah you still do that,it's not really a "glitch" since it is at the very core of how the gunplay works. More of a weird unintended mechanic.
There is an actual glitch that makes this specific room (hardest segment in the game) easy though. Just before you jump down and trigger the ambush, backtrack to the mounted turret outside and fire it at the building. For some reason this will trigger all the guys to spawn and you can take them out from the ledge without dropping down into the murder pit with no escape. It's so oddly specific that I think it might have been intentional, and the devs knew that this room was bullshit. No idea if it still works in the remaster.

Besides there being 3 random possible solutions I want to say you can move each colored section horizontally and you have to sort of arrange them so that if they were to stack up it matches the white image. Or something. You can't die from it though.

it's not hard at all. you just need to do one row at a time. assuming bottom right is the empty spot as it usually is, I always do the top row first. The main technique is to do circles. These are either done between two rows, two columns, or a tight box with the 4 spots in the corner. When you need to take one out of the loop you cut it back through the middle instead of going around the long way, which will change the order.
The most important thing is to remember the orientation they're supposed to be in and that if you keep doing circles it will never be fixed. For instance, if 2 is left of 1 when they're on the top row then you will never switch them if they're both always moved in the same circle. eventually u see them starting to fall in place and overall it doesn't take more than a couple minutes to solve a 3x3.
now, how do you get them in minimum number of moves? you probably need to be brilliant or something.
